The NEXCONEC® MTP®/MPO Conversion Trunk Cables are compact, high-density fiber connector assemblies designed for use in high-density environments. Unlike standard MTP®/MPO trunk cables, these conversion trunks are terminated with MTP®/MPO connectors on both ends and offer more flexibility for existing 16-fiber cabling systems.
These trunks are ideal for connecting equipment or interconnecting modules and panels in data center applications up to 400G, 800G and emerging 1.6T architectures, supporting transitions from InfiniBand 200G QSFP56 or optical QSFP56 transceivers to 400G QSFP-DD, and onward to modern 800G and 1.6T optical platforms where compatible transceiver types are used. Our MTP®/MPO connectors are available in both Standard and Elite versions to suit different power budget requirements.
